The Law of Jurisdictional Reacquisition
Intelligence can cross a boundary more easily than authority can. A physicist may enter economics; a statistical model may move from one population to another; a legal doctrine may be exported into another jurisdiction; an analogy may migrate from biology into politics; an artificial intelligence may pass from medicine to engineering to law without changing interface, voice, or apparent confidence. Such crossings can create knowledge. They can also conceal a fundamental asymmetry: the survival of competence does not entail the survival of the warrant that made reliance upon that competence justified. This treatise formulates the Law of Jurisdictional Reacquisition: Authority is not conserved across an epistemic boundary. When the conditions that warranted an intelligence's authority materially change, only warrant demonstrated to survive the crossing may travel with it; every domain-dependent remainder must be reacquired under the conditions of the receiving world. The law does not defend disciplinary enclosure. It distinguishes boundaries of warranted reliance from boundaries of profession, credential, or institution. An outsider may acquire greater jurisdiction than an incumbent; an artificial intelligence may exceed every human specialist; a receiving discipline may itself possess defective standards. What the law prohibits is neither crossing nor intellectual revolution, but the unearned conservation of authority. The argument develops a general account of epistemic regimes, material crossings, warrant invariance, jurisdictional distance, authority debt, transfer warrants, composite jurisdiction, and jurisdiction ledgers. It shows why the problem survives the disappearance of present disciplines and why greater artificial intelligence may intensify rather than dissolve it. Its deepest proposition is independent of any present technology: Where the conditions that justify authority change, authority survives only to the extent that its justification survives. Whatever does not survive must be justified again.

The Architecture of Relevance
Intelligence does not become wisdom by generating more possibilities. It becomes wisdom only when relevance is fixed under value, consequence, and answerability. This work argues that relevance is the hidden architecture beneath intelligence, ethics, governance, and artificial intelligence. A system may detect relations, produce explanations, retrieve information, rank outputs, predict futures, and generate plausible structure; yet none of these capacities, by themselves, determine what matters. Relevance is not a property of information alone. It is the justified priority of a relation under a horizon of value, consequence, and answerability. The age of artificial intelligence intensifies the problem because machines can now generate relations faster than human institutions can evaluate them. The danger is not only machine error. It is also machine abundance: too many plausible connections, too many summaries, too many rankings, too many futures, too many recommendations, and too many technically correct answers inside malformed frames. Earlier theories of relevance have explained relevance in cognition, communication, inference, attention, or information processing. This work asks a different question: when intelligence can generate unlimited plausible relations, what makes any relation worthy of attention, trust, action, or institutional force? The work develops Relevance Ethics as the study of how minds, institutions, and machines decide what matters under conditions of excess possibility. It distinguishes relation from relevance, salience from warrant, attention from justification, auditability from answerability, and correctness from judgment. It argues that artificial intelligence cannot be governed only at the level of outputs, because outputs are late-stage surfaces of prior relevance architectures. To govern intelligence is first to govern salience. The future will not belong to those who know everything, but to those who can still decide what matters without surrendering answerability for the decision.

The Body After Intelligence
Artificial intelligence has been theorised almost entirely as a producer of representations. This treatise argues that the arrival of embodied systems terminates the adequacy of that framing, not by degree but by kind: embodiment transforms intelligence from epistemic output into physically answerable agency. An erroneous representation stands open to correction; an erroneous act has already occurred, in a room, on a body, to a person who did not evaluate it first. From this asymmetry the work derives the Law of Embodied Relevance — an embodied system may act only when the proposed action is justified by task, permission, safety, privacy, dignity, reversibility, and answerability together — and develops the ontology of the act it presupposes, relocating relevance from what should be answered to what may be done, reconstructing permission as the boundary between capability and legitimacy, arguing that refusal is the condition of trustworthy obedience, treating contact as a moral threshold and the home as a moral interior, introducing the right to be uncomputed, and extending the analysis to the conditional case of general intelligence with world-access, where the unit of concern is the fleet rather than the machine. It closes with a formal apparatus and with the conditions under which its central claim would be false.
